About Sophia

Sophia was born in Gothenburg Sweden where she trained to become a professional ballet dancer.

After graduating from the Gothenburg Opera Ballet School she worked in France and Italy and came to Britain in 1987. She performed in West end Shows, television, tours and film and then pursued a teaching career in dance and musical theatre in colleges around the UK.

Her work has brought her teaching method to Performing Arts Schools and Academies around Europe. and also worked with sports and stage personalities.

In 2005 she gained a Remedial Sports Massage diploma at the London School of Sports Massage and has since worked in multidisciplinary clinics. In 2015 she qualified as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (MLD Dr Vodder method) and she is now one of the very few Massage and MLD practitioners in the South East.
